March is the nicest and one of the driest months of the year in the
Caribbean region. It's hard to imagine a better time for a springtime cruise
than March. It's true that you will pay more in March then you will in November
but you are traveling in the peak cruise season for the Caribbean.
During March the temperatures in the Caribbean typically vary between a daily high of about 83 degrees and a daily low of approximately 73 degrees. On average, in March it rains in the Caribbean a total of 8.4 days when precipitation totals averages 1.8 inches. As you can see from the total, this is not actually much precipitation making September a plausible month for considering a Caribbean cruise.
Morning temperatures in March average 74.1 degrees. The temperature will rise over the course of a typical March day, reaching an average of 82.5 degrees by early afternoon. Overall, temperatures in the Caribbean during March average around 78.0 degrees.
